Startup for Scoring

Begin your scoring process by starting the computers and making sure that all are working properly. Note any abnormal conditions and have your backup computers ready.


  1. Start the DI Scoring Program. The shortcut to the DI Scoring Program might be located in different places on different computers.
  2. Make sure that all computers in the tournament are using the same version of the DI Scoring Program. For help, see Record the Version Number.
  3. Open the tournament directory used to score the tournament. You must use the same tournament directory for all computers in the tournament.
  4. Examine the Tournament Summary Window for your tournament. Take note of the number of teams in each challenge level and the start times for the final Team Challenge and Instant Challenge in each challenge level.
  5. Examine the challenge level windows for your tournament. Take note of the status of the teams.
  6. Examine the score sheets for your each challenge level in the tournament. If you are using Detail score sheets, check to see if there are columns for each appraiser's scores or a single column labeled Score. If there are columns for each appraiser, note whether the appraisers are assigned to score all or selected elements of the challenge.
