Raise an Issue

Raising an issue begins the issue tracking process. It adds an entry to the Issue Record for a team and identifies the team as having an unresolved issue.

To raise an issue:

  1. In the challenge level window, click anywhere in the team's row to select it. Then, from the Edit menu, select Modify Team. Or you can click the Modify Team icon or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M.
Or, in the team's Team Challenge or Instant Challenge score sheet, from the File menu, select Modify Team, or click the Modify Team button in the toolbar.
  2. If you're in the All Teams Window, click anywhere in the team's row to select it. Then, from the Scoring menu, select Modify Team. Or you can click the Modify icon or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M.

  3. In the Team Editor dialog box, in the Outstanding Issues section, check the Team Chall checkbox to raise a Team Challenge issue, or check the Instant Chall checkbox to raise an instant challenge issue.

The Comment text box is activated and the DI Scoring Program writes a header for the issue entry. The header includes the day, time, and challenge, and the ISSUE RAISED heading.

  4. In the Issue Text text box, type a brief description of the issue, and then click the Modify button to save the change.

    For example:
Score for Item 3a. is out of range. Score sheet sent back to challenge site.

  5. If you decide not to enter the issue description after you've typed in the Comment box, click Revert to delete your entry but keep the Team Editor open, or Close to close the Team Editor without entering any Issue.

The Team Editor dialog box closes and the team row turns red to indicate that the team has an outstanding issue. (You might have to click on another team row to see the color change.)
