Plan for Scoring

The most likely route to a trouble-free tournament requires diligence in the least exciting part of the task, the planning phase.

Planning your scoring method is even more important now than in the past, because the DI Scoring Program is now even more flexible. This flexibility allows more variations to suit each region and its participants, but it requires that you make some important decisions about the location and organization of your scoring team and computing resources.

To help you plan wisely, we've included a Planning Worksheet that lists the decisions you need to make and provides some guidance and advice. The Planning Worksheet is your tool. Please use it, print it, mark it up, save it, share it, and then pass it on to DI friends and colleagues.
