Install on a Macintosh Computer

The DI Scoring Program runs on the following Apple Macintosh environments:

Java is not included with the Apple Macintosh version of the Di Scoring Program installation package. Prior to Mac OS X 10.7 ("Lion"), Java was installed with the Mac OS automatically. In Mac OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later, Java must be downloaded and installed manually. To download and install Java 1.7 or later, go to http://java.com/. To download and install Java 1.5 or 1.6, go to http://developer.apple.com/java/download/.

Installation Instructions

  1. Double-click the scoring program .PKG file to start the installation process.
  2. Follow the steps as directed within the installation process.

The installation process will install the DI Scoring Program in a folder labeled DI Scoring <year> within the Applications folder on your computer (assuming you chose the default options in the installation process).

Be sure to read the release notes ("Notes.html" in the Scoring Program <year> folder.

When the installation is complete, you're ready for the next step: Start the Scoring Program.
